As a professional sports agent specializing in Hockey, and a former NCAA head hockey coach, Howard brings a uniquely detailed perspective to the needs of hockey players at all levels. Through his tireless efforts, Howard has successfully separated GDA Hockey from the competition through its diligent and comprehensive approach to hockey representation by realizing and actively fulfilling his player’s expectations. Howard Hutton is a former ice hockey head coach, with experience at both the NCAA, college club and high school levels. He is a graduate of St. Joseph’s College in New York, with a degree in Organizational Management. He received his MBA from Long Island University. He also worked as an adjunct professor in Business Administration at St. Joseph’s College and Briarcliff College in New York. In addition, he has also served as head coach of the UCHC hockey team for Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pennsylvania. In this position, Hutton developed technical reports on NCAA hockey and developed a conditioning program that was utilized by players in the off-season. Additionally, Hutton scouted and recruited for the LVC team. He also handled game tape reviews, scheduling, budgeting, and advanced scouting. His team earned more wins in one semester than the previous and latter coaches earned in 6 years. He was also a successful scout at the USHL and NAHL levels. After coaching, Howard actively worked on the business side of the sport helping CMG Sports increase their client list from 40 to over 100 players. In this position, he thoroughly scouted, recruited, researched and maintained client relationships. At CMG, Howard worked closely with company summer camps, both in the United States and Canada, and worked as a Player Consultant for all minor-pro clients. He has also handled high-level contract negotiations and arbitration prep for current and former NHL players (Sheldon Brookbank, Wade Brookbank, Brian Sutherby, Joe Vitale, Ben Guite, TJ Brennan, Kyle Brodziak, Deryk Engelland, Mark Letestu, Mike McKenna, Kris Russell, and Pat Maroon). Howard also coordinated company-wide research and marketing for NHL draft eligible players. His position with CMG only strengthened and expanded his network of professional relationships and his base of experience in the pre-professional hockey arena, which is now a core focus of GDA Management. Howard also spent time working in Corporate America acting as Promotions Director at Radio Disney and Manager of Marketing Programs for Newsday; a Tribune company. At the age of 20, he was the youngest Promotions Director in radio in the entire U.S.
